For all wildlife emergencies in South-east Queensland please call our Volunteer Hotline on 07 5527 2444.

Please do not email reports of sick and injured wildlife as our emails are not monitored continually.

The Wildcare Hotline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  For all other Queensland regions, please call the RSPCA on 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625).  If for some reason our Hotline is unmanned, please select the appropriate extension to be transferred to someone that can assist with your enquiry.

For non-urgent matters:

Wildcare is a non-profit organisation with no paid staff.  Our volunteers conduct their wildlife activities from their own homes.  Therefore please do not send enquiries for paid employment, work placements, internships or work/accommodation requests.  As a volunteer organisation, we do not have the resources to respond to enquiries of this nature.

If you are enquiring about our education workshops – please note:

Unfortunately due to the Covid-19 health crisis, all volunteer training is suspended until further notice. Once we are able to re-commence training workshops, we will notify our members.
