How to make a donation?

Donations are gratefully accepted and all donations over $2.00 are fully tax deductible.

WILDCARE is a voluntary organisation and we rely on community support to continue to operate our emergency telephone service and to provide financial assistance to our volunteer wildlife rehabilitators.   Our telephone service receives approximately 15,000 calls a year!

Refund Policy


Refunds of donations are provided at the discretion of the Wildcare Management Committee. Therefore, please make sure that the amount you enter is the amount you wish to donate.

A refund may be granted if an error is made by the donor in making an online donation or an error is made by Wildcare, the GiveNow platform or our financial institution.

When an error has been made, a request for a refund must be made in writing within 30 days of the date the donation was made. The request should include the details of the initial transaction including date, donation amount, donor’s name, receipt number and the nature of the error.

If a donation is refunded, the original tax receipt is no longer valid. If a donation amount is adjusted by Wildcare, the original receipt issued will become invalid and a new receipt will be issued for the adjusted donation amount.
